BestStart West Melton is seeking a passionate and dedicated qualified and registered teacher to join our team as our new head teacher for our Inventors room (3-5 year olds).

We are located in a purpose-built building in the heart of West Melton. We have beautiful large outdoor areas for tamariki and Kaiako to explore and learn.

About the role:
This is a permanent position working 40 hours Monday-Friday on a rotating roster. Leadership experience not a necessity for the right person, but this would be an advantage.
This is a rare opportunity to join us as our new Head Kaiako, working with our 3-5 year old's, in our inventors room. In our Inventors room, you'll be working within a team of one other experienced Kaiako. The team have sound knowledge of assessment, planning and evaluation and are really big on encouraging and supporting each other to learn, grow and thrive alongside our children.
Role requirements:
We're looking for a natural leader who shares our values and vision who has a good understanding of programme planning and assessment as well as a drive and passion for growth.
