Our Te Whānau o Hato Renata te reo Māori bilingual unit is designed to provide our tamariki with the opportunity to learn te reo Māori me ōna Tikanga and achieve success as Māori.
We are seeking a Y1-2 or Y3-4 teacher to join our Te Whānau o Hato Renata Bilingual Whānau. You will be joining a friendly, supportive team, committed to creating a bilingual environment through a Māori world view, values and aspirations.
The successful applicant will have a level of proficiency in te reo Māori and competency in using Te Marautanga o Aotearoa. We understand the Te Reo learning journey is ongoing and will support you with yours. Knowledge of DMIC maths is also helpful as is kapa haka experience. Being highly organised and flexible as required are important skills in this role along with a willingness to work as part of the wider school collaborating to achieve our strategic goals and priorities.
