He tūranga kaiako e wātea mai ana ki roto i tō mātou whānau rumaki reo. Mehemea e ngākau nui ana koe ki ngā tamariki, tēnā, tono mai. Me mōhio te kaitono ki te reo me ōna tikanga. Ka waia hoki ki ngā āhuatanga o Te Marautanga o Aotearoa. Ka taea hoki e ngā BTs te tono mai. Pātaihia mai mena he pātai āu, kāre he raru. Haere mai hoki ki te tiro noa iho te tuatahi. Mauri ora!
We are looking for a dynamic and motivated teacher to join our rumaki reo team, Mōkai Āwhina. Class level and start date are negotiable.
Students in Mōkai Āwhina are fully immersed in te reo Māori. Our goal is that by the end of Y8 students will be bilingual and biliterate in both Māori and English. Fluency in te reo Māori is essential for this position.
If you are familiar with Te Marautanga o Aotearoa, have good communication skills, an ability to form reciprocal, learning focused relationships with students and whānau, and are willing to continue to learn and plan collaboratively with colleagues, then come and meet us.
School visits are welcomed, contact the school office on (09) 262 0594 to organise a visit.
