Wellington Hills Christian College (currently Miramar Christian School) - Principal

This is a unique and rare opportunity to visibly lead the establishment and development of Wellingtons first state integrated Christian College (Y1 to 13). Plans are well advanced to;

• Relocate what is currently Miramar Christian School (new name Wellington Hills Christian College) to Johnsonville
• Apply for a maximum roll increase from the current maximum of 100 students to 210 students in the near future and further on growth past 300.
• Apply to extend the year levels to year 13 (starting with adding year 9 in 2025 and adding year 13 by 2029)

It is anticipated the MOE application for the above, and various financial, and planning permissions will be confirmed shortly with a planned start on the new site in 2025.

The ideal applicant will show dedication to the school’s growth vision, adeptness in securing funding and resourcing, leadership in strategic and operational planning, and empowering staff in all areas of spiritual, academic, educational innovation, relational and professional performance. 

The Principal will champion the school’s special character in all aspects of school life.  A willingness and ability to take part in religious instruction appropriate to the school shall be a condition of appointment.

The permanent position commences 19^th December 2024, however, securing release time for this endeavour in Terms 3 and 4 2024 will be desirable to enable proper planning and execution to prepare the school for 2025.
