Nelson College for Girls is in the heart of beautiful Nelson. We are proud of the many successes of our ākonga and our ārahi programme. We are seeking an enthusiastic and inspiring kaiako with a passion for social sciences.
Applicants should be confident in culturally responsive pedagogies and be able to connect easily with young people, making learning relevant to life. Excellent communication skills are important as is the need to be flexible, creative and organised.
Applicants must have NZ teacher registration.
This position could include a literacy class, which would make it 0.6 FTTE. Commencing at the beginning of term three or as soon as possible thereafter.
