Due to a promotion to Principalship of one of our Deputy Principals, an exciting opportunity has become available to join the Senior Leadership Team at Rathkeale College.
We seek an experienced and competent senior leader who has skilfully developed high-performing teams and led change. The successful candidate will have the knowledge, skills, and experience to lead the teaching, learning and assessment areas of the college along with other key areas by negotiation.
Supported by an enthusiastic Principal and Board, the opportunity for leadership development will also be available. You will have a passion for learners achieving their potential, educationally and holistically.
You will join a high functioning and collegial Senior Leadership Team that implements the school's strategic vision, focusing on Hauora, Learner Pathways, and Innovation and Technology. The successful candidate will be the right fit for our Senior Leadership Team and their unique qualities will enrich our school.
Our college is a boys’ secondary school for Y9–13 students and also operates a co-ed senior college in Y12–13 with girls from St Matthew’s Collegiate School. We are a college that enjoys a reputation in New Zealand of provide students with an excellent opportunity to develop into well-rounded young people. The school grounds cover 58 hectares and is located in the thriving Wairarapa, 5 minutes north of Masterton. Three boys' boarding houses are located on the grounds, catering for 180 boarding students.
