Registered ECE preschool teacher - Level 7

Do you have a passion for working with preschool children aged 2-5years?

Are you ready for a change? We are looking for you at Casa Montessori Preschool.

We have an exciting opportunity to join our small team of teachers, you will be working alongside our preschool teachers to make a positive difference in the learning outcomes for our children.

At Casa Montessori, we focus on developing life skills for our children and encourage and build confidence in them to reach their potential by being engaged in learning opportunities.

The successful applicant will have the following attributes:

• Level 7 ECE or primary teaching qualification and NZ registration
• Current NZ Teaching Council practicing certificate
• Experience working as a teacher in an early childhood education team/setting.
• Experience in Montessori ECE would be an advantage, but if not, full training will be provided.
• Knowledge and understanding of the Montessori philosophy.
• You can use initiative and commit to quality practice standards in an early childhood setting.
• You will have excellent communication, planning, and organisational skills.
• You will have a strong commitment to high-quality care.

The position is full-time within the centre's operating hours, 8am–5.30pm.
