About Saint Kentigern:

An opening has arisen for an inspired educator to lead our Spanish Language programme. This is a full-time, permanent appointment. Please state all subjects/languages clearly in your application.

About the role

• Create and implement learning programmes
• Develop and mentor staff
• Collaborate with other Languages curriculum leaders
• Promote and grow the subject
• Track and enhance academic progress
• Perform key administrative tasks

 Skills & experience

• Be an experienced and passionate teacher of Spanish. Knowledge of Senior NCEA curriculum is compulsory.
• Have middle leadership experience.
• Promote the subject and work effectively with other Language curriculum leaders.
• Be a team player who works collaboratively for best learning outcomes of students.
• Be exceptionally organized, plans ahead and can delegate tasks appropriately.
• Be confident in meeting necessary administrative requirements, such as managing a budget and health and safety
• Support Faculty and school wide strategic goals.
