Speech language therapist

We seek an experienced speech language therapist who is keen to work alongside teachers, teacher aides and other therapy disciplines to develop and implement quality programmes. 

This role is for a speech language therapist who would appreciate being able to visit classes weekly and impact on learning outcomes over time. 

Rosehill is a large, multicultural specialist school for learners aged 5-21 with ORS funding. 

You would be part of a large collaborative therapy team. Your case load will be varied and focused on embedding best practice into classroom programmes and leading innovation. You will have a realistic caseload of classes at both our Base school and in satellites.

 The ideal applicant will:

- have minimum 2 years experience with learners with special needs

- have an understanding of and confidence in dysphagia assessment and management

- have an understanding of ASD best practice

- have the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff and whanau; and value cultural capital

- have a proven ability to work collaboratively with other therapists

- CAT1 accreditation preferred but not essential
