Teacher to Introduce Samoan

We have a unique opportunity for a qualified teacher to teach Samoan to our 30 children, our teaching team and our families.  We hope you apply before applications close on June 1st the Independence Day of Samoa.

You could be soon to become a new graduate wanting to start your career with an established teaching team. As the founder I would offer you fortnightly provisional registration meetings as you start your journey with us. 

You could be a mum who wants to return to teaching but only part-time and an initial fixed term contract till Xmas suits you. Hours could be 1.30pm to 5.30pm x5 afternoons a week or two full days 7.45am to 5.30pm Tuesdays & Fridays if preferred. Further relieving work may also be available as needed.

You could have retired but are missing teaching and want to return for another 5 months or more.

This position is funded by Pacific Innovation funding and has the potential to become a permanent position for the right candidate.

Applicants need to be NZ registered and certified with a current First Aid certificate and already living locally, embrace Te Reo and Te Ao Māori and appreciate  our Trilingual Approach to Preschool Education. 

3 referees need to be provided with your CV to complete the 7 Point Safety Check.
