We are looking for an experienced pastoral leader to contribute to our strong pastoral team. A Community Leader at Hobsonville Point Secondary School provides leadership and support for the 11 Hub Coaches (Tutor Teachers) in their community, liaises with whānau, and manages pastoral care for the 200 students in their community from Y9 to Y13.
This role is suitable for teachers who have demonstrated highly effective pedagogy as a teacher, and as a tutor teacher, house leader and/or dean themselves. The role requires strong interpersonal skills. Community Leaders work collaboratively with other leaders, with the hub coaches in their community, and with ākonga and whānau.
The ability to teach English/Dance an advantage, however please state all supporting subjects.
