Kindergarten Kaiako | Teacher

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic kaiako to join our team at Laughton Kindergarten in supporting tamariki and whānau to achieve their full potential.

As per the Kindergarten Teachers', Head Teachers’ and Senior Teachers’ Collective Agreement (KTCA)

• Salary range of $59,027 – $99,216 assessed according to service history
• 6-weeks minimum Annual Leave entitlement
• Generous non-contact and professional time

We are looking for a dedicated, knowledgeable kaiako who:

• is a strong advocate for tamariki
• understands Te Tiriti O Waitangi based partnerships with tamariki and whānau
• is committed to te reo Māori me ona tikanga
• has an awareness of the culture of child protection
• is dedicated to supporting the social and emotional growth of tamariki
• is willing to create and maintain strong relationships with the wider community and outside agencies
• demonstrates a growth mindset

Requirements for this role:

• ECE qualified – (minimum Level 7)
• hold current practising certificate, or recent graduate
• first aid certification
• entitled to work in New Zealand.
