This position (vacancy) will work across Edmund Hillary School and Red Hill School.
Our Coordinator will be able to make informed pedagogical decisions, sustain high-trust relationships and be ready to extend beyond the classroom. Sound knowledge of tikanga Māori is a must and fluency te reo Māori is a bonus.
This coordinator will focus specifically on seamless support for learners with needs so they are included, engaged and successful. Experience in teaching learners with specific needs is a must. Such experience might include implementing successful interventions with your own learners (through ALIM, ALLs or a spiral of inquiry), successful implementation of IEPs, or supporting your school SENCO. You will be passionate about engaging with diverse learners, teachers and agencies, growing alongside SENCOs and will collaborate from a base at Redhill School.
