Technology teacher - materials

We are a high performing Y7–13 secondary school situated in scenic Orewa on Auckland’s North Shore.

We have a permanent full-time position for a passionate and skilled materials technology teacher to join our team in 2024. The ideal candidate should be able to teach both achievement standard and unit standard trades courses, but this is not essential. This role would suit someone who is wishing to retrain after a career in the trades or the role could be developed into a multi-materials technology specialist with experience in wood, metal and other resistant materials and processes. 

There may be leadership responsibilities in the future, dependent on applicant experience.

You will be joining a positive, innovative environment with collaborative staff and a forward thinking approach to curriculum planning.

Commitment to the college’s extensive extra-curricular programme and the school values, Manaaki Orewa and Ako Orewa is required.
