Professor in Education

Te Kura Toi Tangata School of Education invites applications for this exciting opportunity to provide academic leadership and mentoring in teaching, research and service.

We are looking for a dynamic individual who will bring a research and scholarship record of sustained excellence and a recognised contribution to the academic field of Education at a national and international level. You will have a record of academic leadership that includes mentorship, guidance, encouragement, and support for other academic staff in the pursuit of their academic objectives and the development of their professional careers.

To accompany your PhD it is expected you will have a research and scholarship record of excellence at a national and international level, with demonstrated excellence in teaching and successful postgraduate supervision experience. You will be able to demonstrate how you can contribute to current teaching and research within the Division, as well as extend and build the university’s profile for impactful, interdisciplinary teaching and research.

Salary for a Professor starts from $154,169 per year based on skills, knowledge and experience brought to the position.
