Resource Teachers of Learning Behaviour (RTLB)

RTLB Te Awakairangi, Cluster 29. Fixed-term position

We seek skilled and experienced NZ registered teachers with an interest in an RTLB role or trained RTLB with a current and thorough understanding of the NZC with strong pedagogical knowledge. Applicants will have skills in supporting students with diverse needs in inclusive settings from Year 0–Year 10 (Primary, Intermediate and Secondary). It is an advantage to have experience with understanding the function of behaviour as well as the implementation of behaviour plans.

Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to culturally responsive, collaborative, strength-based inquiry practice is essential. 

Strengths in te reo and Tikanga Māori, teaching Māori and Pasifika students and teaching at primary and secondary levels are an advantage.

Applicants are required to have sound ICT skills, a full driver’s licence and their own vehicle.

Position is to start at the beginning of term 3, 2024.
