Unqualified teacher – nursery room

We are on the lookout for a passionate heart-centred teacher for our Nursery Room!

Through these relationships, children recognise and develop the skills that will take them through their life journey – respect, kindness, empathy and resilience.

About the role:

As an unqualified teacher you will be supporting a wonderful team of passionate teachers, fostering a respectful and nurturing environment to enhance quality practice. This is a full-time position 40 hours and on a rotating roster between 7am to 5.30pm. You will also be expected to attend monthly staff meetings. Third year students or fresh graduates should consider applying for this role.

• Excellent communication skills; writing, speaking and listening
• Self-management skills; planning, organising, time management
• Takes initiative and able to problem solve
• A love for people, big and small, and calm, loving, respectful
• Team player who is flexible, reliable and collaborative
• Basic knowledge of child development, 0 to 2-year-olds
• Passionate about creating inspiring and beautiful environments; igniting wonder, curiosity and stimulating learning experiences.
