We are seeking an exceptional educational leader to join our high performing and established senior leadership team as head of senior school for the start of term 3. 

The head of senior school will strategically lead the senior school to achieve the vision set out by the principal, the Inspired Group and the wider school community across Y10 to Y13. Building and maintaining positive working relationships with all members of the staff, students and our parent community, leading by example, holding and articulating clear values and moral purpose and a strong focus on ensuring individual excellence for each student are expected.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES across the senior school:

• Provide effective and purposeful curriculum leadership.
• Provide effective and purposeful pastoral care leadership.
• Develop a strong senior school culture and identity within the wider school setting, fostering community involvement.
• Proactively engage in planning and enabling professional development opportunities and activities.
• Proactively engage with and implement relevant key outcomes as outlined in the school Strategic Plan.
• Be and active and collaborative member of the Senior Leadership Team. 

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL:

• Be an excellent classroom practitioner and expert in their subject field.
• Have a genuine passion for enabling success in others; staff and students.
• Have previous leadership experience within a secondary school environment.
• Be collaborative in their approach.
• Have excellent communications skills, both written and verbal.
