Release teacher Y1–8

Okiwi School BoT is seeking a release teacher for our teina and tuakana classes.

They should be competent across the curriculum with strengths in te reo, mātauranga Māori, education outside the classroom and multi-level teaching.

We would employ an innovative, caring kaiako who would foster positive relationships within the whānau kura and across the wider community.

They would live next to the school in a 2-bedroom flat in the Okiwi Valley in the North of Great Barrier Island in this rohe o Ngāti Rehua, Ngāti Wai ki Aotea.
