About the role

This role will be responsible for the development and implementation of our Priority Students Ki Uta Ki Tai – Student Success Plan. You will bring great ideas, based on a sound understanding of the education sector in New Zealand.

In this role you will:

  • Build and foster collaborative relationships with the secondary schools sector to co-design a programme that will positively influence outcomes for targeted cohorts of students
  • Design and implement the framework to deliver these outcomes
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to best utilise experience and skills in this programme of work
  • Provide leadership and guidance to one direct report who will work alongside you to build specific workshops intended to support attainment of NCEA.

About you

You will have:

  • Excellent relationship management skills, with an ability to build meaningful and collaborative relationships with a range of stakeholders at all levels
  • Experience in co-designing programmes of work, with the skills to weave different requirements to best meet the needs of our Māori and Pacific students and their schools
  • A drive to succeed in enhancing the educational prospects of our future students, and the ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team to deliver desired outcomes
  • The ability to connect with people from a diverse range of backgrounds.
