Y7–8 classroom teacher

Kia ora! A position has become available for a full-time Y7 & 8 classroom teacher at our kura.

We are based in the Dargaville township and we are the only Intermediate school in our town. We have a roll of 150 students with 6 classrooms operating. 

We are looking for someone that is passionate about helping our children succeed in all areas of schooling. Someone that understands this age group and is willing to go the extra mile to ensure that our tamariki feel valued and able to achieve what they set out to.

You must be a team player- someone who is going to bring a good attitude, new ideas and a willingness to grow alongside our staff.

There is opportunity for a management unit for leadership in SENCO if this is something you are interested in. 

Please note: we are looking for someone who has either studied in NZ or has already been teaching in an NZ school. 

This position will be a permanent role for the right applicant.
