Teachers (Y0-8)

We are a Y0-8 school experiencing roll growth at all levels of our school. We seek two full-time Year 0-8 teachers with strong classroom practice and experience in primary or intermediate classrooms. Applicants need to have strengths in teaching literacy, numeracy and developing strong relationships with tamariki and whaanau. We have 1:1 chromebooks for our Y4-8 students, are part of the DMIC Maths PLD project and the BSLA initiative and implement the Mitey Mental Health programme. We are a well resourced school with a focus on working collaboratively.  Please state the specific strengths you would bring to this position. Management Units negotiable.

The role includes performing tasks as detailed in the job description included in the application pack. Suitable applicants must have the following:

Approved New Zealand ITE qualification or overseas equivalent

Registration with the Teaching Council of Aotearoa New Zealand

The terms and conditions, including base salary for this position is set by the relevant collective agreement and will range from $57,741 to $90,000 depending on applicant’s qualifications and experience. Individual’s actual base salary will be established by a salary assessment once a role is confirmed.
