Saint Kentigern Girls’ School offers exceptional education and outstanding sporting opportunities.  Our new purpose-built Girls’ School is based on the Remuera Campus overlooking Hobson Bay and has state-of-the-art facilities.

An opportunity has arisen within Saint Kentigern Girls’ School for a Director of Sport to join our team.  This pivotal position leads the extensive sporting programme at the Girls’ School. Teaching up to 0.4 FTTE negotiable.

As Director of Sport, you will provide leadership and strategic direction for sport. 

Applicants should have:

• Experience in leadership and management
• Passion for, knowledge, and understanding of a wide range of sports
• Proven ability to set and lead strategic direction and make improvements
• Ability to motivate and lead both students and staff teams
• A commitment to the highest sporting standards
• Exceptional communication, and interpersonal skills
• Planning and organisational skills
• Experience managing a budget
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Forms
• An understanding and commitment to the values and traditions of Saint Kentigern

We will consider applicants with a sport or management-related qualification who have had experience in managing and leading the organisation of sport and will consider NZ registered teachers as well as those who are not teachers.
