We require an innovative and passionate teacher of junior curriculum subjects. We are looking for someone who has experience teaching in a Primary School setting and can cater to a wide range of subject content. This person will be creative, adaptable, have a growth mindset and will cater for diversity. You will be committed to delivering flexible, learner centred, future-focused learning and will support the school’s strategic intentions the wider changes in the New Zealand Curriculum.
This position has the opportunity to be considered for a Kahui Ako position with remuneration.
The ability to work in a way that is reflective, supportive and collaborative with a strong commitment to enabling the success of all students is important. including a focus on Māori and Pasifika achievement.
We are an Assessment for Learning, PB4L, and restorative practice school, as well as a member of a Kāhui Ako.
Providing extra curricular opportunities for our learners is a priority and we look forward to your contribution to this.
The successful applicant will hold a current practicing certificate, issued by the New Zealand Teaching Council.
This position is permanent and full-time, and includes five non-contact periods as per the Secondary Teachers Collective Agreement. It commences at the start of Term 3, on Monday 22 July.
