Centre supervisor

Blooming Buds Early Learning Center is looking for a full time Centre Supervisor to join our team in West Auckland Glen Eden.
The centre is licenced for 120 children aged 0 to 6 years old and dedicated to creating a safe and inclusive environment where all children and families feel safe and welcomed.

As a centre supervisor , you will play a vital role in overseeing the daily operations of our early childhood centre and ensuring the highest quality of care and education for young children. Our ideal candidate will have minimum five years experience as a centre supervisor or centre manager and must have a good understanding of New Zealand ECE Curriculum and demonstrate a willingness to grow in their role.

Key responsibilities:

Day-to-day running of the centre.

Leadership: Provide strong leadership to our team of educators, creating a collaborative and supportive work culture.
Curriculum Development: Work with educators to develop and implement a curriculum that aligns with New Zealand's Early Childhood Education Curriculum, Te Whāriki.
Staff Management: Recruit, train, and supervise teaching staff, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.
Parent and Community Engagement: Build and maintain positive relationships with parents, caregivers, and the local community.
Compliance: Ensure the centre compliance with all relevant licensing and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications and experience:

• A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education with
  5 years + of experience in a leadership role within an early childhood education setting
• Strong knowledge of New Zealand's early childhood education regulations and curriculum.
