An opportunity has arisen to join our wodnerful school. If you are a New Zealand registered and trained teacher with a genuine passion for making a difference in children's lives then you should consider applying.

The position will be in the middle area of our school in year five and six. You will be one of three teachers in a flexible space block. You will have your own kaitiaki group but also plan and teach in a collabroative way as well. 

Pongakawa is an incredibly well resourced school with expansive grounds, a heated 25 metre competition pool, action centre with an internationally sized basektball court complete with a glass backed squash court alongside. Currently it is a Tauranga base for the Waikato BOP Netball team. 

Strengths in any of the areas of sport, outdoor education, music or Kapahaka an added advantage.
