Director of Boarding

Otago Boys’ High School is a state funded boys only school of over 840 students. As the first secondary school in Dunedin, we have over 161 years of tradition in ‘crafting men of oak’. School House, our Hostel, is at the centre of our school. The hostel serves the community of Otago and Southland, as well as a small number of International students. 

The role comes with a four-bedroom house, and many amenities attractive for a family. The salary is in line with an Assistant Principal in the state education system. There is an expectation to be available to be on-call.

The Director of Boarding is:

• With teaching experience if possible
• A senior leadership role, pivotal to the life and success of Otago Boys’ High School, a leading Dunedin based school.
• A people based; values enhanced role for a leader dedicated to the success of people.

• Commences term 3, Monday 22 July 2024.
