Learning support coordinator - Y7-10

We are seeking a learning support coordinator to join our team here of 140+ staff and be part of a team of LSCs at RHS. 

The successful applicant will be guided and led by our existing Inclusive Learning Leader and work alongside another LSC.

RJHS provides a unique, challenging and enjoyable environment to teach in. We place significant emphasis on working and learning collaboratively and believe as a leadership team we offer our staff the opportunity to contribute actively to the direction of the school and importantly to realise their own potential as an educator.

We are looking for experienced and high performing teachers who are willing to support staff, students and whānau to deliver high quality learning programmes to our young people with additional learning needs. All of our Learning Support team and School Leaders have a teaching component to their role so we would like applications for the vacant LSC position to be enthusiastic about this part of their role. We will work with the successful applicant's strengths for this part of the role.

Experience working with students from Y7-10 (that is, any or all of these year groups) is essential. No learning support experience is necessary but will be considered an advantage. An empathy and understanding for all learners and their whānau is a requirement of the position.
