He mohio anō hoki ki ngā mātāpono o Te Marautanga o Aotearoa me ngā āheinga ki te whakatinana i ngā uaratanga. Ko te reo me ōna tikanga.    

We have a permanent Scale A teaching position available to start term 3, 2024. This unique position is to teach te reo me ona tikanga across the school as a specialist kaiako. 

We are looking for a dynamic, highly motivated and enthusiastic kaiako to engage students in learning te reo through tikanga Māori. This kaupapa will bring language and culture alive through local pūrakau and pūrakau from around the motu, interactive learning experiences, and connecting our tauira to their kura, their whenua, their whānau and beyond. 

This position is available for a competent speaker of Te Reo Māori. The person needs to be confident in te reo me ōna tikanga and have a passion for bringing the language alive for all tauira in our school.  This position will be part of a specialist teaching team so the ability to collaborate, share and be part of a team is essential.
