We are seeking a teacher of te reo Māori to work with ākonga through the middle and senior (Y7-13) in our kura. We are looking for an innovative, reflective, and energetic practitioner to join our growing Te Reo Māori program which sits within our supportive and established languages faculty. The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of the New Zealand Curriculum and the principles of effective language teaching and learning, along with a deep understanding of te reo Māori me ōna tikanga.

You should have a passion for supporting all ākonga to learn te reo Māori,. The ability to teach students from beginners to NCEA level and support the growth of our NCEA program up to Y13 is desirable. There may also be opportunities to teach across other learning areas such as Social Sciences, English and more. This position would be suitable for a teacher of te reo Māori at any stage in their career.
