We are seeking a passionate and dedicated new entrant teacher to join our team on a fixed-term contract basis to accommodate our growing student population. The ideal candidate will be committed to creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment where every child feels valued and supported.
This position will commence at the beginning of week 5, term 2.
Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver high-quality, play-based learning experiences that cater to the diverse needs of young learners
Foster a collaborative and inclusive classroom culture where students feel safe to explore, take risks, and learn from mistakes
Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to meet the individual learning styles of students
Build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues based on trust, respect, and effective communication
Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices and stay informed about current educational trends
Qualifications and experience:
Current teaching registration, provisional or full.
Previous experience working with young children in an educational setting
Knowledge of play-based learning approaches and their application in the classroom
High levels of self-awareness and emotional intelligence
Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong ability to collaborate and build positive relationships
A sense of humour and the ability to create a joyful and stimulating learning environment
Willingness to learn new methods of teaching and adapt to the evolving needs of students and the education sector.
