Registered guidance counsellor

We are looking for a qualified and experienced guidance counsellor to provide the necessary pastoral care for our students during a one-year study leave   vacancy. The successful applicant will work closely with the principal, senior leadership team, deans and teachers. 

The position will commence on Monday, 13 May 2024.

The role asks for a warm, approachable, values-based practitioner, experienced in client-centered counselling modalities, with relationship-building skills, specifically with adolescent young people.

Previous experience as a school counsellor or experience in a similar role is an advantage. A teaching qualification and membership with NZAC are preferred.
