This PLD will be an opportunity to come together to explore the concept of ‘intentional teaching’, breaking down some of the myths that exist by exploring the term, the practices it encompasses, and the opportunities it provides for teacher practice. Teaching in ECE is about more than turning up, and this PLD will provide guidance to support teachers to engage in intentional teaching practices that support them to bring Te Whariki to life every day.
This Workshop is for beginners and those wanting to refresh basic spinning skills - great for professional development and to be inspired about new art teaching ideas.
Our popular annual competition opens March 15, 2024, and we have two categories for young poets: Open Junior and Haiku Junior.
