New Zealand ShakeOut, our national earthquake drill and tsunami hīkoi, is happening at 1.30pm on Thursday 17 October.
This is a chance for everyone to practise the right action to take before, during and after earthquakes and tsunami. It’s also a great opportunity for schools to update their processes and procedures and for students to learn about preparing for emergencies.
