Māori Deaf students build digital version of marae to empower community

Rūaumoko Marae has been an important part of the Māori Deaf community for 30 years.
In this video, Mana Tamariki is a kōhanga reo and kura kaupapa Māori in Palmerston North catering for students from birth to Year 13. Tumuaki, rangatira, kaiako and ākonga share some of their key learnings and reflections from their experiences of life and learning through Covid-19. Captions are provided in both te reo Māori and English.
