Fields of Remembrance World War I commemoration packages.

Opt out if you don’t want to participate

Fields of Remembrance World War I commemoration packages will be hand-delivered to all schools and kura from 23 February through to the end of March.

Please let the Ministry know by 18 February if you DON’T want your school or kura to receive a commemoration package by emailing fieldsof.remembrance@education.govt.nz and providing the name of your school or kura.

If we don’t hear from you, we’ll assume you want to participate.

Each school and kura will receive: 30 white crosses to commemorate the men and women who died in World War I. Guidelines for setting up the Field of Remembrance will be provided.
