NE/Y1 primary teacher

As our roll grows we are moving our new entrants on to make room for our next group of children. Therefore, we are searching for a highly skilled and motivated teacher passionate about teaching and learning in a Christian school. 

The vacancy is for a teacher to join our junior primary. The successful applicant will work in a partnership with existing teachers. You will have your own classroom, but with extensive opportunity for kaiako and tamariki collaboration. Our Y1 tamarki are settled into Horizon and you will have some time working alongside the existing teacher, giving you the opportunity to build relationships and understand existing routines. 

We are a Y1–13 co-educational state-integrated Christian school. Applicants must demonstrate a willingness and ability to uphold the special Christian character of the school as a condition of appointment; are expected to be culturally responsive in their teaching practice; and involved in our extensive extracurricular programme.
