Inspire our ākonga

Maukatere Technology Centre is seeking an innovative and future-focused kaiako who is passionate and motivated by working with Year 7-8 ākonga.  Previous Technology Teaching is not required.

About the role:

This kaiako will start in term 1, 2025 working collaboratively with hangarau | technology kaiako to develop innovative learning programmes that will challenge and stretch 21st century learners: 

• Create a stimulating learning environment that fosters creativity, problem-solving, and mastery of knowledge and skills.
• Encourage students to develop their thinking and confidence.
• Collaborate with colleagues to achieve outstanding outcomes.

Ideal candidate:

You will have a passion for project based, hands-on learning and a strength in building connections and positive relationships.

• Keeps the learners at the centre of their practice, focused on getting the best outcomes for all of our children
