We have permanent teaching positions commencing term 1, 2025. We are seeking highly motivated, dynamic and enthusiastic teachers to add value to our kura. Up-to-date knowledge of the New Zealand Curriculum is essential.
Our mission is to model and nurture critical, creative, caring and collaborative thinking in all our students. Underpinning all learning experiences are the values of manaakitia, whanaungatanga, ka taea, whakamanatia and pārekareka, ensuring the hauora of our ākonga is central to learning. Staff hauora is equally important which is why we offer a fully equipped staff gym, a school cafe to relax and unwind with a flat white or latte, and a supportive environment to continue to grow your teaching capabilities.

The successful applicants will be committed to knowing and caring for each of their students; providing engaging, high quality learning experiences for modern emerging adolescents, allowing them to explore and achieve their personal potential.
TIS focuses on best teaching practices. A commitment to continually upskilling and improving as a teacher is essential. Strengths in Formative Assessment, PB4L, Structured Literacy knowledge, and strong content knowledge in Mathematics and Literacy would be an advantage. These teaching positions may be located in collaborative teaching spaces, or in a single cell classroom.
