We are very proud of our small, homely centre catering for a maximum of 25 children aged 2-5 years. The things that make us stand out are our spacious natural playground , homely atmosphere, respectful relationships and strong connections to the environment and our wider community through both place-based education and enviroschools programme. 

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated teacher to join out team for a 6 month fixed term position commencing mid - October.

The successful applicant will have:

* The flexibility to work 24-30 hours per week 9am-3pm over 4-5 days

* The ability to build and maintain professional and meaningful relationships with kaiako, tamariki and whanau

* Skills to plan and document children's learning

* Have great communication skills and a sense of fun

* Thrive in a team environment with a positive attitude

* A keen interest in sustainability

* A passion to develop relationships with all children including those with diverse needs

* Have a current practising certificate from the New Zealand Teachers Council
