Head of Vocational Pathways

An exciting opportunity has come about to lead a popular and forward-thinking department.  We are seeking a Head of Vocational Pathways with the knowledge and skills to lead and support the development of Secondary Tertiary opportunities. We are well connected to our local community and have strong relationships with a variety of learning institutions in our region.   

We are seeking an educator who has:  

• The ability to quickly form positive relationships with students, staff and the wider community  
• A sound knowledge of vocational pathways  
• Initiative, passion and a strong work ethic  

The ability to teach hospitality, tourism and/or employment skills is an advantage.  

We are a coeducational school of just over 600 students and sit within central Taranaki, below our beautiful Maunga. Our region was voted the 2nd best region in the world to visit by The Lonely Planet and boasts an abundance of tramping and cycle trails, surf beaches, lakes and rivers. Stratford is only a short drive to New Plymouth, a vibrant, forward-thinking city. 

The position commences term 1, 2025.
