Kaihere School is seeking a Teaching Principal who has high expectations for learning and is passionate about education.

Kaihere School is a rural primary school on the edge of the Hauraki Plains catering for Y0 through to Y8 students. Kaihere School has a rich history with connection to the wider community.

The Board is inviting applicants who would relish the opportunity to join our small rural school team and lead and grow our wonderful school.

We are seeking someone who;

• Demonstrates leadership and principalship experience

• Understands the uniqueness of a rural community and the key role the principal plays in such communities.
• Is passionate about education
• Demonstrates an emphasis on quality pedagogy and leading effective teaching and learning
• Is visionary in direction to take learning to an excellent level
• Demonstrates a solid understanding and experience in governance
• Demonstrates integrity
• Demonstrates competency and is enthusiastic about teaching a multi-level senior class.
