Head of science (permanent)

Wairoa College is looking for a dynamic and forward-thinking head of science. The ideal candidate would have a passion for teaching and be ready to jump in and help us build a great future for our ākonga within the science pathway. Teachers are expected to be energetic and collegial and to contribute to the co-curriculum life of the school. Please state in your application how you will do this. Current NZ teacher registration and practising certificate must be held. Please state other teaching subjects. 

You must have a thorough understanding of the New Zealand Curriculum and the NZQA framework. We are seeking a head of faculty of science who will inspire staff and students. Leadership experience is preferred.
