We are a school of 54 pupils seeking an enthusiastic, innovative, and passionate teaching principal to lead us into the future. Principal release 0.6.
The person will have the vision and passion to make a positive difference to our students' learning, with a focus on continuing success.
Taumarunui is a lovely rural town situated in the heart of the King Country, with a full range of services, and opportunities in the areas of the arts and entertainment. It is the ideal destination for those who love outdoor pursuits, is close to the ski fields, and access to hunting and fishing. Taumarunui offers a wide range of sporting options, including a top quality golf course, rugby, netball, basketball, tennis, martial arts, and a variety of twilight sports. Housing prices are amongst the most affordable, ideal for first time buyers, or those wanting to sell and become mortgage free.
This position would be a wonderful opportunity for a first time principal, or alternatively suit an experienced person later in their career.
Start date by negotiation.
A willingness and ability to take part in religious instruction appropriate to the special character of the school is a condition of appointment. The appointee will be required to accept and recognise the responsibility to lead and preserve the special character of our school.
