The University of Canterbury Students’ Association (UCSA) is a not-for-profit organisation with charity status. Montana Early Learning Centre, one of the UCSA’s two early learning centres, is licenced for 38 children and is well known for exceeding government required ratios, having a culture of kindness and respect, and being a home-away-from home for tamariki, whānau, teachers and all individuals within our learning community. 

We are looking for someone to work with children O3 in the Preschool room, who has the following:

• Passion for working with young children
• Positive and professional attitude
• Friendly and welcoming disposition
• Teaching qualifications and registration
• Strong knowledge of Te Whāriki 2017
• Strengths in planning and assessment
• Passion for quality care and building strong relationships
• Enthusiasm for ongoing Professional Development.

The terms and conditions, including base salary, for this position are in line with industry standards. Each person’s base salary will be established by a salary assessment once a role is confirmed.
