Experienced Y2–4 teacher

Silverstream South School is looking for a fun, collaborative and enthusiastic teacher to join our dedicated staff. We go above and beyond for our tamariki, so expect that of the applicant.

Having a big heart and fantastic relationship skills with tamariki, staff and whānau is a must. As is a sense of humour and a positive mind set!

Experience of play/project-based learning, trauma based practice, PB4L, Huakina Mai and learning theories such as structured literacy and agentic learning programmes will be an advantage.

The successful applicant will be skilled at creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment that fosters a love of  learning! They will have experience and/or a strength in te ao Māori in order to contribute and grow our cultural competency as a school and community.
