Deputy Principal

We are seeking an experienced and passionate educational leader to join our dynamic team as a deputy principal. Located in the heart of Nelson, our large urban school is committed to providing exceptional education within a culturally responsive and inclusive environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead and enhance the delivery of the New Zealand Curriculum with a focus on innovative and effective pedagogy.
• Drive culturally responsive practices throughout the school, ensuring that all students' identities, languages, and cultures are valued and integrated into their learning.
• Collaborate closely with the principal, learning support coordinator, and the Board of Trustees to develop and implement strategic goals for the school.

• A skilled teacher with an in-depth knowledge of the NZ Curriculum and a proven track record of implementing effective teaching strategies.
