We are seeking a passionate and experienced professional to join our innovative and inclusive school as the director of international students. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our international programme.
Key responsibilities:
Lead and manage the department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality educational and pastoral care services
Develop and implement strategies to attract and retain international students
Coordinate orientation programmes and ongoing support services to help students adjust in New Zealand and succeed academically
Liaise with students, parents, agents, and other external organisations
Work with in-school stakeholders including the BoT, teachers and students to create an exciting learning environment which fosters cultural diversity and inclusion
Monitor and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies
Manage budgets and resources effectively.
Qualifications and experience:
A relevant tertiary qualification in education or international relations, marketing or a related field
Experience in a leadership role, preferably within an international educational setting
Ideally, experience in a NZ high school and familiarity with NCEA
Strong understanding of the challenges and opportunities associated with international education
Excellent communication, people skills, strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
Flexibility to be able to travel internationally for marketing
Familiarity with Google Suite and various marketing technologies.
