We are currently seeking applications for permanent primary teachers to join our incredible team from term 1 2025.

Mt Cook School is situated in central Wellington. Our school community is rich with diversity and is focused on ensuring equity through developing a positive sense of identity and teaching a curriculum that stems from where we are, this makes teaching and learning fun and relevant. Our new kaiako will be part of a collaborative school community, where student and staff well-being is paramount to all decision-making. The successful candidates will be provided with opportunities to grow and receive both school-wide and personalised professional learning development.

We value strength in te Reo Māori, Tikanga, and bilingual education, as well as a collaborative working style and love of learning. We are looking for teachers with an in-depth knowledge of teaching literacy, numeracy, and the New Zealand Curriculum using a localised context.
