The role

As an ECE teacher at Glen Eden West Kindergarten, you will play a vital role in shaping young lives. You will collaborate with a supportive team to deliver high-quality early childhood education aligned with Te Whāriki.

We are seeking a passionate and committed educator who can:

• Build strong relationships with tamariki, whānau, and colleagues
• Demonstrate a deep understanding of play-based learning and bicultural practices
• Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Utilise ICT effectively to enhance teaching and learning
• Embrace ongoing professional development.

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

• ECE qualifications, current registration and first aid certificate
• A strong commitment to the principles of the Treaty of Waitangi
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A passion for working with young tamariki
• Strong skills in planning and assessment.
